Child Safety
In short. Poliglo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We block it, remove it, ban the people responsible and report it to the authorities.
This page describes our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation, as required by app stores and by our own values.
Our standards
- We prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content that supports, glorifies, defends or normalises paedophilia or child sexual abuse. This applies to real and fictional content, text, audio and images, and to content generated by AI.
- Our AI features refuse these requests, and we use automated checks on prompts, imports, photos and AI output to block them. See our Acceptable Use & AI Policy.
- The Service is not intended for children under 13 and has no public messaging, friend-finding or location features that connect minors with strangers.
- Users cannot send messages or media to one another. The AI tutor is configured for all-audience, language-learning conversation, and sexual or romantic role-play is blocked.
What we do when we find it
- Remove the content and block further generation.
- Permanently close the account and prevent its return, with no appeal for CSAE violations other than an erroneous identification.
- Preserve relevant records and report to the appropriate authorities, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, and equivalent bodies and law enforcement elsewhere.
- Cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
How to report
- Email [email protected] with the content, username or link. Reports are reviewed by a trained team member and handled as the highest priority.
- Children or parents: if you or a child you know is at risk, tell a trusted adult and contact local emergency services or your national child-protection hotline.
- You can report CSAM directly to NCMEC (report.cybertip.org), the Internet Watch Foundation (report.iwf.org.uk), or your country’s hotline (see inhope.org).
